The 100th anniversary of the founding of Congregation Baith Israel Anshei Emes was celebrated last night at the synagogue in Brooklyn at a ceremony attended by Jewish and civic personalities. Messages from President Eisenhower and former President Hoover hailed the congregation’s role in the community. Dr. Israel Goldfarb, spiritual leader of the congregation for the last 50 years, was honored at the ceremony.
