Announcement was made this week by Bernard Semel, honorary secretary of the Jewish Educational Association, that Mark Eisner and Abraham Gevirtz, both well known in Jewish communal affairs, have been elected members of the executive committee of the association. Mr. Eisner, who is a member of the law firm, Olvany, Eisner & Donelly, is also the secretary of the executive committee of the Business Council of the Federation and in charge of the Judges’ and Lawyers’ Committee of that organization. Mr. Gevirtz, a merchant and manufacturer, is a director of the Beth Israel Hospital and the Hebrew Orphan Asylum.
