Mendel N. Fisher, Executive Director of the Jewish National Fund of America, will make a transcontinental tour immediately after the conclusion of the Zionist Convention in Cincinnati, according to an announcement made today by Dr. Israel Goldstein, President of the Jewish National Fund of America. Mr. Fisher will visit Kansas City, Omahs, St. Paul, Minneapolis, Seattle, Portland, Los Angeles, San Francisco and Denver.
The purpose of his trip is to report to the leading communities in the West on the progress made by the Jewish National Fund in its war-time lead opposition program and to discuss plans for the observance of the 40th anniversary of the Jewish National Fund, in January, 1942, which will be celebrated throughout the world.
This is the first transcontinental tour that Mr. Fisher is undertaking since he was elected to his present post of Executive Director of the Jewish National Fund of America.
