E1 A1 Israel Airlines began an Israel- Scandinavian service today, with a flight of a Boeing 707 jet liner on a schedule calling for weekly flights; Flight time will be five hours between Tel Aviv and Copenhagen.
The flights will be inaugurated formally next week, with two trips from Israel, About 150 persons are expected, including Israel’s Transport Minister Israel Baryehuda, Minister of Posts Eliyahu Sasson, tourism officials, the press and trade and industry leaders; An inauguration flight from Copenhagen is planned for November. The airline has opened a Scandinavian head office in Stockholm, and plans to open another office here.
