The El Al Israel Airlines, which started direct New York to Tel Aviv jet flights last week, expects to increase its jet service to six flights per week by the beginning of the summer, it was announced here today. The El Al intercontinental jets accommodate 120 economy-class passengers and 20 first-class passengers.
El Al also announced today that it opened in Miami Beach one of its largest American branch offices. Captain Leo Gardner, wartime air-hero, has been appointed Southern District manager in charge of this office.
