A group of elderly Jews who formerly lived in Rumania threatened today to commit suicide in front of the Rumanian Legation in Tel Aviv unless the Rumanian authorities honored pledges to permit immigration of Jews to re-unite families. They agreed, however, to withhold all action pending a new Israeli effort to intervene in their behalf with Bucharest.
