Eleven army officers and soldiers received medals at ceremonies at the President’s residence here Thursday for bravery in action during the war in Lebanon last summer. Another II were awarded citations at separate ceremonies at Air Force and Intelligence Corps bases.
The air men and intelligence officers were not identified to the public for fear of possible consequences should they ever fall into enemy hands.
