Eliahu Ben-Horin, a writer and authority on Middle Eastern affairs, died yesterday in Mount Sinai hospital after a long illness. He was 64 years old. As advisor on Middle Eastern Affairs to the American Zionist Emergency Council from 1945-50, he assisted Dr. Abba Hillel Silver, chairman of the Council, in the presentation to the United Nations in 1947 of the case for the partition of Palestine and the creation of the State of Israel. Mr. Ben-Horin was a close associate of the late Vladimir Jabotinsky, the founder of the Revisionist movement.
