Elk Lodges Asked to Give Support to Jewish Pageant

A resolution adopted by Lodge Number One of the Elks fraternal organization urges lodges throughout the city to support the pageant, “The Romance of a People,” which will be presented here September 14 in behalf of the fund to settle German Jews in Palestine. A central ticket station for Elks has been established at 108 West 43rd Street, Manhattan, and a committee headed by Chief Magistrate James E. MacDonald named to secure the cooperation of lodges and Elk members throughout the city.
