Elliot E. Cohen has been appointed editor of the Contemporary Jewish Record, a leading review of Jewish thought and culture, according to an announcement today by Joseph M. Proskauer, president of the American Jewish Committee, which publishes the magazine.
Under Mr. Cohen’s editorship, it is planned to issue the magazine as a monthly under a new name, beginning in the fall of 1945, it was announced. Founded in 1938, the periodical has hereto fore been published bi-monthly.
