The report of the Ellis Island Committee will be presented to Daniel W. MacCormack, Commissioner of Immigration and Naturalization for the United States government, this evening at a dinner at the Delmonico, Park avenue and Fifty-ninth street.
Secretary of Labor Frances Perkins and Commissioner MacCormack will comment on the report, giving the views of the administration. Other speakers will include Congressman Samuel Dickstein, chairman of the House Committee on Immigration and Naturalization; Senator Marcus A. Coolidge, chairman of the Senate Committee on Immigration; Senator Royal S. Copeland; Bishop Francis J. McConnell, Mrs. Rebekah Kohut, Carleton H. Palmer, Professor Joseph P. Chamberlain and Judge Thomas D. Thacher, all members of the Ellis Island Committee.
Miss Marian Schibsby, chairman of the Conference on Immigration Policy, will introduce the chairman of the evening.
