A new Youth Free synagogue, designed for young Jews purportedly “emancipated” from customary Jewish religious tenets, has been organized here by Rabbi Morris J. Urich, a graduate of the Hebrew Union College, Cincinnati. The synagogue will open with services on Rosh Hashonah and Yom Kippur. It will include sermons and a combination of prayers and poetry in its ritual, Rabbi Urich said. Open forums are also contemplated.
