Contributions in sums of $100 and over to the Palestine Emergency Fund, according to an announcement by its Chairman, David A. Brown. lack only $34,021 to make the total of that category of donations for the relief of the Jews of the Holy Land, $1,000,000. Mr. Brown expressed the conviction that the million dollar mark for such contributions would be passed within a day. Included in the receipts was a check for $10,000 from “The Day.” This makes $20,000 received through “The Day” by the Palestine Emergency Fund.
