Emory University’s Jewish studies department has received $5 million. The Atlanta university’s Institute for Jewish Studies is trying to establish a $10 million endowment to expand its faculty and curriculum. The $5 million grant is from Arthur M. Blank, the co-founder of The Home Depot.
