Emphasizing that “American Jewry will give funds for Palestine because of the conviction that it fills all the requirements for organized mass settlement,” the American Zionist Bureau today presented its case to the Inter-government al Committee on Refugees.

The war has increased the problem, the Zionist leaders said, “because it has resoled in bringing under the regime of the German Government additional hundreds of thousands st who, in conformity with German law, will find no opportunity for survival.” Although emphasizing Palestine, the American Emergency Committee for Palestine Affairs said: “The agencies simultaneously affirm their interest in and approval of any colonization project which contributes to the salvation of refugees.” (Other quotations from the Zionist memorandum will be found in yesterday’s JTA NEWS.)
