Employment was found in April for over 15,000 applicants to the labor exchange in the Israeli-held territories. Ten thousand applicants found work in the territories themselves and 5,300 were given work in Israel. The latter included 2,000 in the building trades, 1,200 in metal work and miscellaneous occupations, and 2,100 unskilled laborers.
