A group of twenty Endek hooligans, members of the National Democratic party, who last Monday participated in attacks on Jews, today received sentences ranging from two months to one week in jail.
In the village of Leczyca, two Endeks who were convicted of having incited the villagers to boycott the Jews received sentences of one year and eight months in jail, respectively.
The Endek hooligans, who belong to the highly nationalistic and anti-Semitic poltical group, attacked Jews on the streets of Lodz and threw stench bombs in Jewish shops. They also destroyed goods in the shops by pouring chemicals over them.
