English Held Ashamed of East End Riots

Viscountess Rhondda, publisher of the British weekly, Time and Tide, last night discounted recent Fascist riots in London’s East End as “simply occurrences that we were ashamed of.” Speaking at a dinner of the P.E.N. Club, she said that the real danger of Fascism in England lay on the outside.

The danger of Fascism is far greater than the danger of Communism at the present time, she declared.
