The Jewish Agency Great Britain will take over the Keren Hayesod after January 1930. This was decided at last night’s Agency meeting where a committee consisting of d’Avigdor Goldsmid. Charles Waley Cohen, Simon Marks, Israel Sief, Sir Mayer Spielman and others divided equally among Zionists and non-Zionists, was appointed.
For administrative convenience the offices of the Keren Hayesod will remain in the offices of the English Zionist Federation but the work will be separate and the Keren Havesod will not be responsible for the activities of the English Zionist Federation. The meeting also elected a Political Commission composed of d’Avigdor Goldsmid, Lord Rothschild. Sir Robert Waley Cohen, Nettie Adler, Laurie Magnes and Major Harry L. Nathan.
