A nationwide day of remembrance for the victims of Nazism will be observed starting Saturday evening in connection with the worldwide observance Sunday of the anniversary of the Warsaw Ghetto up rising against the German invaders of Poland. All entertainment places, including the motion picture theaters will be closed.
The national memorial ceremony will be held on Memorial Hill near Mount Herzl in Jerusalem in the presence of President Ben-Zvi, Prime Minister David Ben-Gurion. Chief of Staff Chaim Laskov and other officials who will hear an address by Kadish Luz, Speaker of the Knesset, Israel’s Parliament.
