The Central Representation of Polish Jewry here has decided to call upon the Yishuv to join in Polish Premier Sikorski’s appeal to the world to observe a minute of silence on July 30 as a protest against the Nazi murders in Poland, it was announced here today.
Reviewing the atrocities committed in Poland the Polish-Jewish body particularly stressed that the minute of silence would commemorate the hundreds of thousands of Jews who have been massacred there.
