A three-day convocation marking the completion of Brandeis University’s first academic year began here today. The convocation will be officially launched at the opening session of the first annual convention of the women’s Committee of Brandeis University at which plans for the group’s activities for the forthcoming year will be formulated.
A formal convocation ceremony will be held here Sunday with over 2,000 persons expected to attend. It will be broadcast on a national hook-up. Aubrey S. Eban, chief Israeli delegate to the United Nations, and Dr. Ralph J.Bunch, acting U.N. Palestine mediator, will address the gathering on Sunday.
