Establishes Leo W. Simon Memorial at Hebrew Union

The Leo W. Simon Memorial Fellowship has been established at the Hebrew Union College by Mrs. Jacob Wertheim, of New York, in memory of the son of Rabbi and Mrs. Abram Simon of Washington, D. C. The Fellowship will enable a student at the college to pursue studies in Jewish philosophy and will be awarded yearly.

Announcement of the establishement of the Fellowship with a gift of $25,000 was conveyed in a letter to Alfred M. Cohen, chairman of the Board of Governors of the Hebrew Union College, by Mrs. Wertheim.
