Establishment of an Anglo-Israeli Chamber of Commerce in Britain and in Israel was proposed here by Israeli Minister Mordecai British as a means of Anglo-Israeli cooperation.

Addressing a luncheon in his honor at the Manchester Town Hall, under the airmanship of Lord Mayor Robert Moss, the Israeli Minister referred to reports that Britain’s formal recognition of Israel was practically complete, and described these reports as “good news.” He urged closer economic cooperation between Israel and Britain, saying this would improve social conditions in both countries.
