Establishment of Congressional Committee to Investigate Palestine Urged in House

Establishment of a six-man congressional committee to investigate the situation in Palestine, independent of the Anglo-American Committee of Inquiry, was urged yesterday in a resolution introduced in the House of Representatives by Rep. August Bennett, New York Republican.

The resolution, which was supported by Democrat Thomas Lane of Massachusetts, is expected to be introduced in the Senate on Tuesday.
