Esther Herlitz will join the Knesset on the Labor Party list, in place of Yehoshua Rabinowitz, who died yesterday at the age of 67. Funeral services will be held Thursday in Tel Aviv. Herlitz was a member of the previous Knesset. She served in the political department of the Jewish Agency before the State was established and then served for many years in the foreign service. Her last office in the Foreign Ministry was Ambassador to Denmark. She was also a member of the Tel Aviv city council and advisor to the Premier on volunteer services.
