–Eugene Sattler, a member of the public relations staff of the American Jewish Committee for the past 20 years, died last night at Mt. Sinai Hospital here after a short illness. He was 59. Sattler, born in Bayonne, N.J. and educated at Rutgers University, devoted his entire working life to Jewish causes. He began his career as a writer for the Zionist Organization of America and became managing editor of its magazine, American Zionist, in 1953. Subsequently, he worked for the Israel Bond Organization before joining the AJCommittee staff.
