The All-European conference of Jewish ex-soldiers opened here today with Deputy Heller, a member of the Polish parliament as chairman. Delegates were in attendance from Austria, the Baltic states, England, France and Poland. Among those present were many who hold decorations for valor.
The chief business on the agenda is the creation of a world union of Jewish ex-soldiers. Deputy Heller, in the principle address of the day, traced the history of the ex-soldiers’ movement and set forth its professional aims. In the evening the delegates laid a wreath on the tomb of the Unknown Soldier.
