The Synod of the Evangelic Church of the Rhineland demanded today that the West German Government act to establish diplomatic relations with Israel.
The stand was approved by a large majority at a meeting of the synod in Bad Godesburg near Bonn. The delegates said they took that position because ethical and humane reasons “which we owe to the state of Israel and we should take every opportunity to change the existing relations.”
