Leading Esperantists refused to participate in the Twenty-fifth Universal Congress of Esperanto held last week at Cologne, it is stated in leading Esperantist circles here.
The reason given for the boycott of the Congress was the fact that the Esperantist leaders wished thus to express their protest against the anti-Semitic program of the Hitler regime.
