The Hebrew University today conferred its first (##) honorary degrees of Doctor of Philosophy on Dr. Chaim Weizmann and Dr. Judah (##)agnes, president of the University.
Dr. Magnes, in a speech following the presentation of the degrees, reviewed (##)Weizmann’s role in the establishment of the institution. The awards were made (##)ir Leon Simon, chairman of the University’s executive council.
