The Rev. Dr. Joseph S. Kornfeld, former United States Minister to Persia, has been appointed director of public relations of the Clifford L. McMillen Agency of the Northwestern Mutual Life Insurance Company.
Dr. Korn### recently resigned from the position of rabbi of the Collingwood Temple, Toledo, Ohio. He was the American diplmatic representative in Persia from 1921, when he was appointed by President Harding, to 1924.
“His long and distinguished record as a public servant, both as a clergyman and as United States Minister to Persia, has given him a broad and comprehensive view of economic and sociological questions,” a statement issued Friday by McMillen said.
Dr. Kornfeld is a graduate of the University of Cincinnati.
