The Executive Committee of the Jewish World Congress today concluded a two day session. There were present Meyer Ebner, Roumania; Nahum Goldmann, Berlin; Georg Kareski, Berlin; D. Jochelman, London; Leo Motzkin, Paris; M. Kreinin, Paris; Rabbi N. Nurok, Latvia; Robert Stricker, Vienna; and B. Zuckerman of the American Poale Zion.
Telegraphic greetings were received from Dr. Stephen S. Wise and Bernard S. Deutsch, members of the International Committee of the Jewish World Congress.
The Executive Committee resolved to commence a large scale winter campaign after the Council to be held in August. The campaign would aim at enlightening the Jewish masses regarding the aims of the World Congress. Direct propaganda would be carried out among the Jewish masses and the Congress would not pin its faith solely on negotiations with individuals, organizations or parties.
The Executive Committee had under consideration the scope of the proposed Jewish Economic Conference. In a resolution dealing with the proposed Conference, the Executive declared that a real clarification of Jewish economic problems was possible only in conjunction with an analysis and clarification of the Jewish political situation.
