Many notables and art experts last night attended the opening of an exhibition of recent paintings by James N. Rosenberg prominent Jewish leader, at the Wildenstein Gallery here.
Mr. Rosenberg, whose paintings have been acquired by fifteen museums and other institutions in many cities in the United States, has in his new exhibit “Atomism” paintings, foreshadowing what may be man’s future in the grip of the atomic age. Three of the canvasses have been loaned by the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston and the Smithsonian Institute.
