The publication of a new pamphlet, Governments-in-Exile on Jewish Rights, prepared by the staff of the Research Institute on Peace and Post-War Problems of the American Jewish Committee, was announced today by Max Gottschalk, director of the Institute. This study deals with the attitude towards the Jews of the exiled governments of the following nine countries: – Poland, Norway, Fighting France, the Netherlands, Yugoslavia, Greece, Czechoslovakia, Luxembourg and Belgium.
The publication contains selected statements by the officials and representatives of these exiled governments, which demonstrate their decision to grant equal rights to Jews, and also a description of the situation of Jewish communities in each of these countries as well as the structure of the governments-in-exile. This pamphlet is the third in the series entitled “Jews and the Post-War World,” edited by Abraham G. Duker.
