The tenth anniversary convention of the National Labor Committee for the Jewish Workers in Palestine will be held next Friday, Saturday and Sunday at the Hotel Pennsylvania.
Delegates in attendance are expected to number nearly 1,000, Isaac Hamlin, national secretary, announced Friday. Baruch Zuckerman and Zalman Rubashow, members of the Palestine delegation, will report on the present situation in the Holy Land. Rubashow, editor of the Davar, will arrive Tuesday.
Organizations which will be represented will include branches of the Jewish National Workers’ Alliance, the Workmen’s Circle, Poale Zion-Zeire Zion and the Pioneer Women’s Organization.
Fraternal delegates as well as greetings are expected from the American Federation of Labor and the British Labor party.
Zuckerman and Rubashow will tell of the possibilities Palestine offers to the Jews of the world at this time and will emphasize the manifold activities of the Histadruth Haovdim, the Palestine Federation of Labor and its program for further colonization activities.
