Israel’s citrus exports are expected to gross a record $65,000,000 to $75,000,000 this year as against sales of $45,000,000 last year, it was reported here today.

A total of 12,000,000 cases of the fruit is expected to be exported in 1963. The anticipated record income is attributed to high prices and a 30 percent increase in Israel’s citrus crops. Prices are influenced by a shortage of Spanish citrus fruits, Israel’s main competition in world markets.
