Congressman-elect Franklin D. Roosevelt, Jr., today left here on the return trip to the United States, after spending a week touring Israel.
At a press conference prior to his departure, Mr. Roosevelt declared that he will assist the United Jewish Appeal’s current campaign for $250,000,000 by embarking on a speaking tour in its behalf. He listed the underwriting of construction mortgagee, shipping and tourist trade and international loans as the other ways by which Israel could obtain American currency.
