Congressman-elect Franklin D. Roosevelt, Jr., today left here on the return trip to the United States, after spending a week touring Israel.

At a press conference prior to his departure, Mr. Roosevelt declared that he will assist the United Jewish Appeal’s current campaign for $250,000,000 by embarking on a speaking tour in its behalf. However, he pointed out that contributing to the U.J.A. drive was but one of several ways of supplying dollars to Israel. He listed the underwriting of construction mortgagee, shipping and tourist trade and international loans as the other ways by which Israel could obtain American currency.
