An FEPC measure has again been introduced in the Minnesota State Legislature. This time there is reason to believe that the bill will be adopted because leaders of both houses of the legislature are backing it, and there is great public support.
A state-wide poll undertaken recently by the Minneapolis Tribune established that 85 percent of the people interviewed favored adoption of a state FEPC law. Of these, 54 percent favored a “quite strict” law as far as penalties for violation was concerned.
