The French Fund for Solidarity With Israel realized $150,000 today through the sale of paintings donated by some of the world’s leading artists. Among the works sold today were paintings by Chagall, Miro, Kokochka, Andre Masson, Poliakoff, Vieirs da Silva and Zadkine.
About 300 artists and sculptors have contributed works to the Artists Section of the Fund, initiated and directed by Baron Alix de Rothschild. Another sale will be held later this week.
