Hundreds of Jewish settlers from the Jordan Valley and the Galilees participated in the informal inauguration of a L5,000 research and instruction center at Dagania dedicated to the study of nature and agriculture. The center includes a library, a collection of plants and a zoo. It was erected with funds contributed largely by Americans and South Africans.
