Scotland Yard authorities this week-end ordered a London theatre closed after fascist hoodlums released live rats among an audience viewing the American-made film “Sword in the Desert” which deals with the recent Anglo-Jewish conflict in Palestine.
Shortly after the New Gallery Cinema was closed by the police the management cancelled further showings of the film. During two days of showing the film was in terrupted at irregular intervals by the explosion of smoke bombs in the theatre, the sounding of air bomb alerts and, last night, the rats,
