Fascists Financed from Abroad, Commons Told by Simon

The charge that British Fascists and Communists are being financed from foreign sources was made in the House of Commons today by Home Secretary Sir John Simon. Sir John said he was unable to amplify on the statement.

Apprised of the charge, Sir Oswald Mosley, leader of the British Union of Fascists, denied it and challenged the Home Secretary to produce evidence.
