A petition for the dismissal of applications by G.A. Richards for the transfer of the control of his radio stations to trustees was granted today by the Federal Communications Commission.
Richards’ radio station operation has been under examination for some time arising from charges that KMPC, his Los Angeles station, slanted newscasts against Jews and others. Richards also operates WGAR, Cleveland, and WJR, Detroit. A final decision has not yet been made in the case.
