The Federation for the Support of Jewish Philanthropic Societies receives $2,011 from the estate of Maurice Levy, according to an appraisal filed in the State Transfer Tax Department yesterday.
Mr. Levy, who died July 10, 1933, left a gross estate of $140,245 and a net estate of $133,600, which except for the Federation bequest goes to relatives and friends. The widow, Mrs. Jenny Levy, of 155 Riverside Drive, receives the bulk of the property in the form of a trust fund, which after her death will be shared by six children and one grandchild.
