Primarily through the efforts of L. Bamberger & Co. of Newark. N. J., of which Louis Bamberger, noted Jewish philanthropist is the head, the annual national model airplane competition, which has been tentatively abandoned for 1932, has been salvaged. Four American trophies and one international trophy will be awarded to boys from all parts of the nation who will come to Atlantic City to compete, September 9 and 10. The Bamberger concern has been active in promoting model aviation since 1912.
