Feuchtwanger’s ‘power’ to Be Filmed in England

Lion Feuchtwanger’s novel, “Jew Suess,” published in America under the title “Power,” will be produced as a motion picture. The film rights of the book were recently purchased by Louis Blattner for about £ 8.000. It is to be screened by Rex Ingram, it was announced here.

The film will be produced in England at a cost of £ 100,000. By an agreement with Joseph M. Schenck, the picture will be released all over the world through United Artists.

A. T. Strahorn, who was the last of the experts of the Jewish Agency Non-Partisan Survey Commission to stay In Palestine left Palestine on January 14 on his return to Washington.

Mr. Strahorn is on the staff of the Bureau of Soils in the United States Department of Agriculture.
