Only four or five Jewish cases annually have been brought to the attention of the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children, states Mr. Meher, Secretary of that organization. “And even then,” says Mr. Meher, “It was very difficult to prove willful neglect….. if a similar condition existed amongst all other nationalities, our society would have to close shop.”
