The 15th anniversary of the establishment of the Youth Aliyah was marked in Israel today by the dedication of the “Henrietta Szold” reception center for immigrant children in Israel. Mrs. Vera Weizmann, wife of the Israeli President, officially opened the center. Chief Rabbi Isaac Herzog and U.S. envoy to Israel James a. McDonald addressed the gathering attending the dedication ceremonies. The center is located in the Jezreel Valley near the Alonim settlement.
