An ancient temple whose history antedates by many centuries the reign of Pharaoh Tut-ankhamen has been found in Ur, the Chaldean city which was the home of patriarch, Abraham. The excavations were made jointly by the British Museum and the University of Pensylvania Museum. The work is at present at its early stages, and it is impossible to say at present, the Museum officials declare, how much history it will reveal.
